How we came to be.
The Penguins Youth Ice Hockey Organization began over 40 years ago in the 1965-66 season, when several teachers from The Hill School, here in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania organized a youth club for students from the school and surrounding communities. Today, The Hill School now serves as our home ice rink located on High Street in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
We're making future stars.
Our Kids
Our players dont just live in Pottstown, PA. They reside in Lansdale, Phoenixville, Birdsboro, Boyertown, Norristown, Elverson, Jeffersonville, Collegeville and all over Montgomery County, PA.
Many of our players who now participate in our travel hockey program, started with us in the learn-to-skate program. This program starts kids as young as 3 years old. The goal of our club is to deliver quality instruction that will allow players to improve their skills as they learn and enjoy the sport of ice hockey.
Emphasis is on developing the individual player. We do this by using our Player Development Plan. Developing players implies at some point players will move up and/or move on to more advanced hockey organizations. Providing a fun environment for boys and girls of all ages to learn and play the game of ice hockey remains the target of our program.
Our increasing success is a direct result of the team effort of our coaches, parents and kids.
