You will need to provide a copy of the USA Hockey registration form (with bar code) before the start of the 2008-2009 season.

Congratulations to our Squirt and Pee Wee Battle at the Barn Champs
|
The Pottstown Penguins had a spectacular weekend at "The Barn Rink" in Chester County where both the Squirt and Pee Wee teams won their respective division championships!
 |
The Penguins Squirts scored the Chester Country Skate Club "Battle at the Barn" Championship victory where they dominated the series. Goalie Matt Snader scored two shut out victories and only gave up 4 goals for a total 31 shots on net during the tournament. The Squirts mounted an impressive offense with an astonishing 113 shots on net and 30 goals for the series.
The leading series goal scorer was #16 Alec Krause with 8 goals including one hat trick followed closely by #12 Jared Cossel and #8 Alex Condello who each had 5 goals a piece. Leading assists was shared by #41 Bransen Mackey and #56 Ben Kerchner who each had 6 assists a piece for the series.
Goal scorers for the series included #12 Jared Cossel, #13 Tyler Wightman, #36 Ian Lacon, #16 Alec Krause, also #56 Ben Kerchner, #87 Lionel Landry", #58 Brady Casada, # 8 Alex Condello, also #41 Bransen Mackey, and #6 Josh Spencer.
The Penguin Squirt defense was stellar with the calm confident coolness of defensive teammates #11 Billy Kranich & #3 Adam Kaercher and the domination of defensive teammates #87 Lionel "The Train" Landry and #13 Tyler Wightman.
Following the squirt championship game, Team Captain Lionel Landry spoke in representation for the team and thanked players, parents and coaches for their dedication and perseverance through out the season. The gratitude he displayed was shared by all.

We teach boys and girls skating, stick handling and puck control. 10 one-hour sessions are included, providing ample ice time to work on skills. Helmet, skates, elbow and kneepads are required.
Typically, children will enjoy this program before moving onto the Cross-Ice or Travel programs (dependent on age and ability). A few children need an additional year in this program. Before leaving this program, children should be able to skate forwards, backwards, stop, and be able to participate in a few basic hockey drills.
Cross Ice Program, 20 sessions, $350.00
