The Pottstown Penguins Youth Ice Hockey Organization is very pleased to invite you to our 43rd Annual Tournament.
Founded in 1966, Mr. Cuesta, Mr. Thomas and teachers from The Hill School started the Pottstown Penguins for students and the surrounding community.
Each year, in February, the Penguins play host to teams from the mid-Atlantic region seeking good competition and fun.

Tournament Awards
Team Trophies and individual awards for 1st & 2nd Place.
Individual awards presented to all participants at Cross Ice, Atom, Mite, and Squirt levels.
Name on The Cup
The winning teams names at all levels will be added to The Cup.

Tournament Cost
Cross Ice: $350 per team
Atom: $695 per team
Mite & Squirt: $850 per team
Pee Wee, Bantam & Midget: $950 per team
$200 due with application.
Balance due February 1, 2010.

 Tournament Format
All teams are guaranteed 3 games using the round robin format.
Tournament begins Friday evening.
Points will be awarded as follows:
- 2 Points for Game Won
- 1 Point for Game Tied
0 Points for Game Lost
1 Point for Period Win
1/2 Point for Period Tie
Tie Breaker:
- Points acquired in head-to-head competition for tied games
- Fewest goals against – overall for the tournament
- Number of goals scored in the tournament
- Least amount of penalty minutes
- USA Hockey rules governs all play
- Cross Ice: 2 - 12 minute periods
- Atom, Mite & Squirt : 3 - 10 minute periods
- Pee Wee, Bantam & Midget: 3 - 12 minute periods
